I purchased a 95 ford f150 flareside with a 302 mass air engine. My question is what cam is in this truck? Is it a hydraulic roller like in a mustang? Can I put a b303 or e303 ford motorsport cam in my setup to get more mid and upper rpm power? This is my first post and I would greatly appreciate your help in selecting the right cam type and size.

Short answer is yes. But an f150 weighs a lot more than a mustang, and the 5.0 is a bit short on low rpm torque anyway. Your plan will give the desired results, but driveability and acceleration would benefit greatly from a gearing change to 4.10 or 4.56.
Will I need to change the springs on my heads if I stay under 500 lift? What lift cam comes in the f150 anyway? I greatly appreciate all the help and info you can give me. I'm currently getting a code 56 error which is mass air voltage to high! Anyone has any idea what could be wrong? I'm quessing the meter is bad!
I've been told that the roller cam in the trucks are simalar to the HO cam found in the stang. If you are not changing the heads at this time, rather than swapping cams, just put in a set of pedestal mount 1.7 roller rockers. These are easy to install and you don't have to tear the heads off. I would also swap in a set of gears. Don't get to carried away with too much gear. 3.55's or 3.73 should be plenty for you.
Which cam do you guys recommend? What RPM does the stock intake sign off on? I'm trying to get together a good combination of cam, intake, and gear!! I greatly appreciate all your help!!
