Where is everybody?
Is everybody on vacation? Out working on your trucks? I hope you guys aren't slacking. There is a show in upstate NY right off the I-90 (Thruway) near Canastota. The date is 9/9. A few of us are trying to meet up there. Anybody here interested in going?

Project:
#1 Cosmetic. Remove external rust from cab. Mild body work. Apply paint. {decided on Metalic Forest Green Perl from duplicolor) Restore dash, replace the hard vinel with dip it for the time being. Glueing in old HD platters to cover up minor door rust holes, and small ammounts of bondo.
#2 Bed, replace it with something that has no holes, pound out dents. Paint.
#3: Get new door rubber. (lower priority, as the paint is far more important then door rubber.
#4: Not sure, be pretty happy once the paint and bed are done. will probally ignore it for 6 months after that.
Goal:
The object is to have a fuctional truck. Needs a tune-up mechancily, but otherwise 100% operational.
I'd love to meet you and maybe drive down to Lexington for some of their famous BBQ. I suspect I can get some of the guys in the area to show up and we can talk trucks, and eat BBQ till we hurt. he he
