Speedometer Cable

Hi, can any of you tell me what other of speedometer cable will work fine on my 64 f100 custm cab. Can I replace it with a 70's or 80's cable?

i dont know if any others will work, but for a new one you can go to NAPA, they have them if not they will order them. about $20 OR SO.
