Thumbs up 94 f150 exhaust question

I have a 5.0 in my f150, i am looking to make my truck louder, right now i have a ford racing B303 cam, so it has a nice idle to it, the exhaust i have now is shorty headers with flowmaster dual exhaust, with the 40 series muffler, i was thinkin about eliminating the muffler and putting a glass pack on with a y pipe to connect my dual exhaust. what do u think will sound the best on my truck. thanks hondamx320

On my 92 Flare I removed the muffler completely and had a slightly larger tailpipe added from the converter back. No glass pack. It sounds real nice without being to loud.

On my truck I put a 3" magnaflow converter and a 3" turbo muffler that exits right under the fron of the bed on the passenger side. The sound resonates under the bed and sounds awesome.

If you still have the factory converters and Y pipe you could remove the mufflers completely and it wouldn't be that loud. Replace the cats with something aftermarket and people will know when you're comming...
