92 aero body lean

I couldn't find a thread that pertained to an Aerostar.
92 Astar 100,000 miles. Steers and handles nice. Ride is nice.
Previous owner (meticulous mechanic) installed Munroe air shocks in March/06.
The drivers side sits 3/4" lower in the rear and 1/2" lower in the front. It doesn't matter if the air shocks are inflated or empty.
I gathered from my searches that shocks have nothing to do with ride height. Most likely the coil spings right? If it's going to lean I'd rather have it lean on the passenger side. Rather than installing new springs, can I just get my mechanic to switch the springs to the other side? Is it possible to shim up coil springs about 1/2".
Anyway...between the body lean, the driver's seat sagging left, and my wallot in my left rear pocket...I'm feeling posture pain.

If you can get someone to swap the springs for you from side to side, you might as well have them install new springs; the labor will be the same, and your new springs will make the van ride much better.

try separate air shock feeds first....can run into cargo floor boxes at rear if extended....use more driver side pressure to raise driver side and see if that does the trick
i've never seen an Aero that sets perfectly level side to side....they all sag in the tail stock

mine has separate feeds that go into left side rear covered compartment along with $8.00 air compressor and gauge for quick adjustment. I love it.

Thats why I never carry my wallet in my rear pocket, besides, it is easier to steal out of the back pocket than the front. Try air rides, you can inflate them to either stiffen the ride or to level it out.

coil spring spacers

How useful and safe are they? Before I decide exactly what I want to do and how much to spend on this van, I was thinking of slipping in one of those spacers for coil springs. I would settle with 1/2" lift. But are they safe? They look like something easily installed.
My applications are light towning 5%, highway commuting 95%.

I have used them for about a year, was great at first then I guess the springs have worn to much now because the van is swaying again and wont lift any higher with booster screwed all the way up
