engine misses
i have a 1989 f150 with a 4.9l. a few weeks ago while driving my truck it developed a severe miss. it was so bad the truck would barley move. now when i try to start the truck it runs for a few seconds (still missing) and then it dies. im not sure if its fuel or inginition related. its got a new pick up coil, icm, d-cap, and rotor button. any ideas?

Check your plugs and see if they are black and fouled out looking. That will give you an idea if it is getting to much gas and causing it to miss out. Have you tried to pull and engine codes? Is your check engine light on?
