Engine Help
I have an 84 Bronco II with a 2.8L, and I'm looking for info on swapping the engine I have for a 2.9L. Reason being I'm having a hard time finding any 2.8's. I'm trying to get out of rebuilding mine. All I need is a engine that runs and doesn't knock. Any info would be appreciated.

you'll need the complete engine, wiring, computer..then you'll need the fuel lines..have to install a fuel pump in the tank or replace the tank with a tank that has a fuel pump in it. You'll need the exhaust headers. Even though the 2.8 and the 2.9 look alike they are very different.
