did they make????
I have the hankering for a 77-79 f-250-350 4x4 crew cab short bed. I have a perkins diesel engine that I want to put in a truck but I a 429/460 willl work until I get the bugs worked out. The only thing is I want a dually. My question is when did ford come out with the dually bed. The earliest I can think of is early 80s. I know of a neighbor that has a 1974 chevy dually pickup with bed. I would like to have a late 70s short bed dually. If they didn't make one, I will have to do something else. Anybody know of a late 70s4x4 crew that needs some work??

I know there are no 70's Fords built duallies. But a guy in my town converted a 73-79 box into a dually box and put a 7.3 IDI diesel in it. As for a crew cab short box I think they did make them. If they didnt I'm sure someone will correct me.

I seen a dually for sale in Alberta on canadatrader supercab dually didnt know if he converted it didnt look like it and i saw a 73-75 F-350 Dually crewcab with a stake bed in Moose Jaw here in Sask thought it was cool truck if i have seen em here they are out there
