well, this is my 1st ranger... i was under the impression that all '05 4x4 rangers had the big v6 (4l)... well go to change my oil today and got the new filter and oil and find out its the 3.0 v6... so yeah now i know thatrangers can pull moe than i thought (3l under the impression of being a 4.0l) so... back to the store to get the right oil filter and 5w20 motor oil... lucky me...

Well even though the 3.0 is a rock solid V-6, the 4.0 has a major jump on performance and power. Gotta check that engine!
