I would think so, it doesn't take much pressure to push water into places it doesn't belong. Even the self serve car washes seem a little heavy to me, but with caution work well. I like to hose it all down with degreaser, use the whole can, it's cheap. let it sit for a while 10-30 minutes and wash from the top down.

I am still experimenting on how to do the job safely with COPs.

I wouldn't spray that much water in the engine compartment especially at that pressure On a side note make sure the engine is cool, cold water plus a hot block equals one bad day

For the motor, pressure washer is a no-no. To start, the motor should be warm, not hot! (As powrstrkn' said) If it's too hot to change your oil, it's too hot to clean with the hose. Spray liberally with degreaser (simple green) Let set, aggitate where needed, use a regular hose and nozzle to gently spray and rinse, don't go overboard and try to avoid direct jets of water on the electronics, including the COPs. Once rinsed, start it up to warm and better dry things. Finally, use a dressing of your choice to top it off... Just don't get any on the belts.

Look in your owners manual...it will tell you what parts in the engine bay need to be covered when your washing it.

...and I'll second the "do not use a pressure washer" on the engine.

Be careful where you swing that thing too.... we've taken off car paint before with a power washer.

All the trucks we pressure wash at work peel the black letters off the logos. It WILL happen eventually, but I don't think it looks to bad. Also, be careful with simple green on certain metals. just read the manual and rinse off the motor if you like.

Check out the forums at http://www.meguiarsonline.com for advice. The site is administered by Mike Phillips, one of the top detailing experts in the country.

There is no way I would use a high pressure wash on any part of my truck. (And, I've seen simple green take the paint off an engine.)

Do a little research and learn about the proper techniques and products to use to keep your truck clean.
