Radiator and AC

I was thinking maybe I should get a new radiator for my 53 F100 but I was wondering should I get one with a fan on it? Do they sell ones with that work better that still look like the original ones? Also, I live in California and would I have to make huge changes to my truck if I wanted AC installed? Anyone used vintage air before? Sorry for all the questions.

I live in So Cal and have a 56. I use a stock radiator with an 1600 cfm electric fan mounted to it, no shroud. The only mods I plan to add AC is to rig a condenser in front of the stock radiator and use a 2200 cfm fan. The fan is temp controlled. Comes on at 190, off at 170. No problems, even is 100+ heat and stop/go traffic.

I had my radiator boiled out, resoldered and pressure tested by a local radiator shop. Cheap. That was two years ago.

Others have gone to all aluminum radiators with dual fans, etc. There are some very pretty and swell arrangements out there, but the stocker has been plenty for my needs.
