2005 F350 Bed Bolt Problem

2005 F350 Bed Bolt Problem
I had a spray in liner done over the weekend. Apparently when putting the bed bolts back in the the foremost bolt on the driver side didnt seat in the nut on the clip that hooks to the frame and instead pushed the clip down. Now the bolt wont line up to go into the nut. Of course this is the one spot on the truck blocked by the gas tank. Ive tried long tools to push it up but its not working. I have to either drop the tank or pull back the bed so I can get my hands onto this clip and bend it back straight. I think drop the tank is best bet, any tips, anybody know how much slack I have before I need to disconnect fuel lines? I'd rather not take it back to the installer as its over an hour drive one way and if they messed up the first time Im not trusting them to get it right the second. However the guy sprays nice, hes just not that mechanically inclined I guess.
