Never seen one that I can recall after 1960. Were any ever made from 61-66 ?I cant imagine why they would have been discontinued!! CH#%& sold many panels through these years, Anyone Know? I guess I just want to get "ON A MiSSON" for a purpose in life. Thanks Fatz

Excellent question. I don't recall how early the "Econoline" was introduced, but I suspect that perhaps the Econoline may have had something to do with the demise of the panel, no?
The first Econoline came out in '61. The last Panel truck was in '60. I think Thom hit the nail on the head about the Econoline replacing the panel truck.

There were no 61-66 panels. In South America, they had several versions of these, but none up here..Chevy had panels thru '72, but their mid engine vans didn't seem to have the wide acceptance like the Econoline. Had a few Econos, they were all great economical vans.. The Courier was last made as a 1960 also.
