Injector time: Need some help deciding

Ok its time for some new injectors, ive been looking at beans stage 1's and the diy kit and even looked at swamps. What would be the best bet for me, i tow my car alot to the track and mostly just drive it daily. but i want good power. Would stage ones be to over kill without a hpop? Someone please chime in here, i dont know which route to go. Thank 97crewcab 7.3 with a auto.

i would get on bean's site and give him a call. explain to him your situation and he should be able to tell you what you need for your application. ive emailed the company a number of times exploring possible routes for replacing my injectors and they've been very helpful. im leaning towards bean's stage 1's myself. everyone here ive talked to highly recommends them.

my 1's are fine with my stock hpop. no problems.
the auto tranny is your only problem. dont know how long it will last with em. i suggest beefing it up before the injectors.

beans or jims diy kit. i dont recommend swamps to anybody.

you could also go with a set of tranny savers, they flow about 130 cc's so max power should be 260-280 hp instead of 320-350 like stage 1's. I highly recommend bean, ive ran his injectors from the beginning.

should i keep the stock A/R housing or get a 1.0? How much power should the truck make with the stage 1's and full bolt-ons? If i baby it in tow mode will my trans make it till the winter? Cause im gonna save up now and get a new trans... Thanks

They recomend keeping the stock 1.15 housing when using stage 1's. The stage 1's can make as much as 350 hp at the rear wheels. As for your tranny..... You will not want to "baby it" once you have this new found power.

I have the stage ones also with stock HPOP, and have had no problems. I used to have a superchips programmer and was able to hit 30 psi boost real fast. I now have the TS Performance chip and I can hit 30 psi boost even faster!
Beans told me that you atleast need a chip to get the full potential out of them, but he said my programmer was good enough.
If you go with the stage ones you'll love em.
