factory wheels

Not sure if i have the factory steel wheels on my truck. I need a picture of the wheels originally on the 68 f100. They also have full hub caps... do they make a moon for this year? I know they have moons, but just wondering if it was an option for that year. Anyone know if after market larger diameter steel wheels are offered in the same pattern?

CC, A little tid bit for you. Ford didn't make the moon. They did offer small dish units called hub caps, and larger ones called wheel covers.

I know that doesn't answer your question, but maybe it will help you with terminalogy.

HI CC,

Let me offer sending you to the old pictorial and suggesting to look in the galleries of stock and modified trucks.

see the blue bar running across the top of the page.

Here's the pictorial for 1968.

Some FTE sponsors sell wheel covers so maybe look at their sites as well.

CC...

Here's what I did with my wheels... the hubcaps are pertinent to the year of my truck, the trim rings just make it look nice

Good luck and welcome to FTE!
