turbo question

hello

when i am driving and my psi is around 15-20 . and i just let off the gas. something in the engine compartment makes a "whaapp whaap" sound, i think its a turbo bark. but im not sure. what do you all think?

Thats it! Also known as turbo fart. Youll find a lot of posts on the phenomenon here. The fix varies with year of vehicle.

hello all thanks for the help.
my truck is a 2006 f250 psd.
ihave an aaftemarke airaid intake, 4 inch mbrp exhaust, and quadzilla tuner with 30 60 120 settings.

take the tuner off and see if it still farts. if not then you do not have a problem although with an "open" air intake it will be more noticeable due to the muffling not being present.
