Does anyone know of a replacement dome light for a 2006 Ranger that includes a map light(s) feature.
Looking for something that will install using the original screw holes.
If any other Ford vehicle dome lights will interchange please advise year etc.
If aftermarket is available please advise Manufacturer and model.
Thanks in advance

My '95 has a dome light with map lights. I think it was standard on XLT models. Oddly enough, the ceilings are probably the same, so check the junkyards.
The closest you could get for a replacement dome light with map lights is to swap one from an earlier Ranger or Explorer. You should be able to use the same screw holes as well. You may have to run a hot wire to it so the map lights will work. Usually the dome light is only one wire and is activated by the door. If you saw a light you liked on another truck, find out what year it is, then go to a wrecking yard and find one or take a look at some of the other Rangers & Explorers they have for one that might be better. The dealership can always get a new one, but it'll be at least twice a much money. I've done this swap to a couple of my Rangers with Explorer dome lights with map lights and it's worked out well.
