adding a power steering pump
Is it possible to add a power steering pump to a 292? I know that it existed but here is my delima. I have a 54 ford truck with a 292. it has the timing cover off a 239( the smaller water pump) the pulley for the water pump is single grove and pressed on. the water pump is also the high mount fan style. so i have a big belt for just the fan and crank. the second belt is crank, gen, and then water pump. So can anyone tell me how to add a power steering pump? I can not switch styles of water pumps because the fan will not clear. will a pump off a lincoln y block bolt up? what all do i need to look for? any one have pictures? thanks
