stup the spring froom moving around but weld them not braze them if you can to the brass weld will break or get fresh metal and fab new ones

I guess they could keep the spring from rotating but if the spring is seated where it belongs I doubt that it would rotate. I have dissassembled many of these twin I Beam front ends and often find the loop clamps are missing or broken. I always put them back and my source is junk yard or I make them.
