white flakes from a/c
i bought a 2004 f150 in sept 2004. i only use a/c in the summer and when it's hot, so i would average 4 months a year tops of a/c usage. from the beginning it started blowing these white flakes through the vents while a/c was on. the dealership said they've seen that a lot and they 'cleaned' it and said it should work fine now. the next day... same problem. then they replaced the evaporator. no results either. then fall came, so no need for a/c, and i think it does that only when it's really hot outside. this year... same problem. again they 'cleaned' it and ... guess what? no results. but they said in time... it should stop doing that (???? has anyone seen a problem solved by delay??) ford won't allow them another replacement of the evaporator ( i don't even know if that's what they should really replace) and i am stuck with this stupid s__t coming out of the vents. any idea anybody???
