Advice?

Just picked up my 97 F-350 a few months ago and now want to start beefing it up. Just wondering what u guys on the board think I should do first. I really want to do stacks but I am hessitant. I am looking for a real aggressive sound, but with the load turbo also. Please let me know what u guys think. Thanks

Guages! Get guages before you do anything. You have to know what your engine is doing when you start adding "more beef". Then the sky, or your bank account is the limit.

You can spent thousands of dollars upgrading these trucks (gauges, exhaust, chip, ect.)and I feel that every penny I put into mine was totally worth it. It is the little projects that are kinda fun, I used the ebpv as an exhaust brake, cost like $10. And no one but some of us hardcore enthusiasts would know the difference. As for your stacks, go for it you will get A LOT of looks from people. You have to strait pipe it too, nothing like the nice turbo whistle at low rpms and the loud deep tone when you floor it.

thanks guys, i was just checking into gauges and i like the pillar mount look, i was looking at both banks and bully dog is there any differance b/t the two?

When I did my gauges I went with DiPricol from DPP. I liked them because they had a great match to the factory gauges. I got a good deal from DPP and am very happy with them.

I have read where others have had problems with banks gauges on these forums.
