06 Super Crew Lariat-- Help Please

I want to make sure I'm not getting screwed on this truck. Here are the options and the MSRP. Can someone please help me out with what I should expect to pay for this vehicle. I may be working a deal on it this afternoon.

Threw me for a second- 2WD? Invoice should be about $34,470. Last day of 0%, and a lot of dealers are blown out of inventory.

Yes, the vehicle is 2WD. Should I expect to pay just a little over invioce + ttl with the 0% financing?

Try to get as cose as you can. The last day of the 0% may have the dealer holding a little more than normal- depends.

Not in Texas. Every dealer in Dallas/Fort Worth is advertising $10k-$11k off MSRP on Lariat Screws. That's with all the rebates (including a $1500 4.6L rebate). Stripped of all the rebates, the discounts are running $6000 + change off MSRP. That's off of 4.6L. The discount might not be as good on a 5.4L.

Still, you should be looking at around $32k-$33k for that truck, not $35k.

Start at $32k. All they can say is no.

P.S. - The dealers won't tell you about the "super secret" rebates for hitting monthly sales quotas. Usually around $1000/unit, often paid in lumps sums ("sell 100 F-150s in September and we will give you $100k").

On pickups in Texas, invoice has almost no meaning. All the OEM's fight it out down here and give the dealers "super secret" rebates. I've bought my last 3-4 pickups for $1000-$2000 behind invoice + kept the rebates and didn't need X-Plan.

Yeah, I know, just another Texas bragging, other people buy pickups too, but 26% of all US pickup sales occur in Texas*. I think that is more than the next 3 or 4 states combined. No one can afford to lose market share in Texas.

jschira- I understand that- BUT Ford pulled the plug on all retail and dealer incentives to go along with 0%, so all the normal rules of engagement are off. The dealers are still advertising the low prices, but will spin on the "oh, you want 0%."

I have learned never to underestimate the dealer's ability to make excuses as to why they can't give you the advertised price. So your point is well-taken.

I still would not offer the dealer even invoice price + 0% to start. Not down here.

Does the 0% exclude the $1000 SD loyalty customer cash back and the commercial rebate?
