Label on fuel pomp..

Label on fuel pomp..
While filling up today, I notice a label on the pump that read "Ultra low sulfur fuel, Prohibited for vehicles 2007 and older..." What does this really mean? If it is prohibited, what's the alternative being offered? I could not come up with a reason for the use of the word "prohibited". Oh wait, this is California....

are you sure it didnt say 2007 and newer? thats what they say around here? but then again your in cali. so who knows lol before long, when you buy a new truck in california they'll have a sticker on the window. "Warning this vehicle is known to cause cancer in the state of California."
