head gasket
i know i am probably looking at head gaskets, but have a 71 360 that has a head or intake gasket leaking slightly. not bad, but it is getting tiny (pin size) air bubbles back through radiator. not constant, but everyonce in a while. no coolant loss, or signs of oil in water or vice versa. truck has been sitting for several years, so i know gaskets are dried out. also has sign of fresh oil coming out under intake behind ps pump. is there anything i can add to this to prolong replacement, or is it best to go ahead and tear it down. maybe would quit after driving awhile? truck only has 39000 documented one owner miles, so definately worth the fix

pressure test the cooling system will tell you if you have a leak a few bubbles now and again will happen by the water pump flowing but you will have to pull the intake to fix the oil leak if its original probally cork gaskets no cure i know of if you can see rubber gaskets on the intake a couple table spoons of brake fliud in the oil might swell it up and slow it down for a while. but have the cooling systenm checked first for leaks might have to tear it down
