They aren't meeting the new '07 emissions, only the '08 6.4L will. It's kind of confusing since the new regs start in Jan '07, yet Ford chose to bring out the Diesel engine compliant with those regs as an '08 model year, but becoming available in early '07.

No diesel dan,you didn't confuse me you pretty much answered my question, thanks.I knew about the new regs for 07 but the 07 6.0l is just the same as the 06's and the earlier 6.0's so i wasn't sure.Thanks again for the info!
