Just replaced the O-rings in my water drain valve and need to know how tight to go with the four little screws. I think I have it tight enough, but I can go tighter. I thought they may bottom out since the valve has metal inserts in the screw holes. Any ideas? Thanks.
i couldn't find a torque spec on the torx bolts that hold the lever on, however my manual said that the Fuel Filter/Water Separator Mounting Bolts (i guess the two that hold it to the HPOP reservoir) are at 23lb-ft. i would lubricate the o-rings and then torque the bolts down to about 20 lb ft?
Thanks Kris, I don't have a 1/4 inch drive torque wrench, but would guess that is about what I have now. I guess I can tighten more if it starts to leak. Oh yeah, Happy birthday again.

ZX there is no published spec on those screws that i could find. I did learn(by Reading) never try to make them "Super tight" because they will crack the ears on the assembly. I just snugged them up and then cranked the engine help the throttle to 2000 rpm for 30 seconds and then checked for any leaking. It was dry so I will recheck after a couple of weeks to make sure vibration hasnt loosened them any.
Thanks, That is what I was thinking. Didn't want to overtighten. I went as tight as I was comfortable doing and went for a drive. Everything is dry. I will recheck in a while. Thanks for looking for me.
Remember too, that it's the o-ring that does the sealing, not the threads. So, as long as it's tight enough for the o-rings to seal, you should be fine.
