89 302 misfires
Hello everyone Im new to this site. Been browsing since I found it and there seems to be quite a bit of info here. Maybe someone out there can help me with the problem im having with my Bronco. Its a 1989 with a 302. it misfires after it warms up. If i hit the acelerator the skip goes away.I have changed the plug wires, plugs,coil,distributor cap , rotor, air cleaner and fuel filter, cleaned the throtle body and it still persists Im looking for the correct direction from here.

Welcome to FTE and the Big Bronco Forum. We will endeavor to get you the most accurate info we can muster.
You might want to pull the computer fault codes from the onboard unit first. This will help alleviate looking at things that MIGHT be the problem. And while I could list a handful of things that MIGHT be the problem, it would be wrong of me to send you on that wild goose chase. You can run the two self tests for your truck with nothing more complicated than a paperclip. You might want to have a look through a Haynes Service manual for your model year or check out the information @ www.fordfuelinjection.com. Both will shed a great deal of light on this topic. A search of this forum will also yield many answers as to how to resolve the problems with specific fault codes. If you can't find the answers you need, post the fault codes for us here and we will certainly give you our best advice.
