i have a 1966 f-100, 352 v-8. would like to switch from points to electronic.
does anyone have suggestions or where to get parts. don't need a high performance setup. as i use this for everyday driving. just looking for better firing and connections.

The Pertronix unit is the only way to go if you are restoring a truck to original. No one will be able to tell its there. I like the Ford Duraspark ignition that they used from the mid70's to mid 80's. You could get one from a truck with a 360 or 390. There is a tech story on this site that tells you how to switch over to electronic. I also have instructions if you email me at trukfarm@frontiernet.net
You can also look at using Cranes X-700 ignition. I have one on my '64 F-100. Love the thing to death. Works much better then the pertronics crap. But if you don't want people to know pertronics is the way to go. I just prefer the crisp throttle response of the Crane. Also the Crane can be fine tuned. Just my two cents.
