I had my best 0-60 run today ... 7.18 sec. Is this pretty good, because the truck just seems like it's absolutley hauling butt. I watched the Roush video that they posted here a few days ago and it said the Roush Stage 3 ran a 6.9 0-60, and I was thinking man for $16,000 you would think it was getting a little better perfomance than my bolt-ons that I paid less than $1500 on. And I wonder if anybody heard (in the video) the voice-over say something about the fact that the Roush upgrades wouldn't destroy your engine like the bolt-ons do. Am I missing something? I've read and read and never heard anything about me destroying my engine by adding a CAI, etc. OK I understand you can really damange your engine by programming the Edge (or any other tuner) too aggressively, but am I destroying my truck by modding it?

No, exhaust and cold air intakes don't harm your engine, but it is possible for some "race" intakes to cause problems due to incorrect readings of air and fuel sencors. Programmers are alot more dangerous if programmed at a very agressive level. Plus they can destroy your computer and warrenty won't cover that. Most bolt ons are perfectly fine as long as they are for "race" because these engines arn't internally built for racing.
