i checked with my parts guy and you do have the proper egr valve. you may have conflicting software between the chip and pcm. contact banks and see what they say. i have had the edge system cause a ck engine lt on it was for the iat2. customer did not like that but oh well. how is your power? and boost?
I did contact Banks this morning and they said it is NOT likely a problems with their system vs the pcm. I have read some threads with people reporting similar CEL situations with EDGE and Banks system, but like i mentioned, Banks denies conflict.
Some people in these threads report CEL disappearing while others don't with these mods.
At this point, I am at wit's end.
Shall I disconnect the EGR altogether and just clear the CEL via the Banks PDA module very time i turn on the ignition? ...or do i leave the EGR connected and clear the P0402 code every few cycles when the CEL appears?
Power and boost are GREAT by the way.
I wonder if maybe refill my tank with diesel or treating it if it will make a difference?
I have also read somewhere that it could also be a faulty gas cap??

if power is fine then the egr is not stuck or orings not damaged. take the banks out of the loop. i think all you have to do is just unplug it from their box and just plug the pcm back in. disconnect the batteries and drive it for a few days. if your light come on take it to a dealer, if it does not come back on then contact banks again. your light should not come on stock or not stock.
