'90 BII XLT, Starting Problem
I got in this evening to go to the store and I noticed this problem... I'm totally confused as to what's wrong, and I hope someone can point me in the right direction.
When I turn the key the pump comes on, the engine fires right up, but the lights all dim, it looses RPM's and dies. The check engine light came on, but after 3 tries, it started up, the light went off. Went back to see if I was still having this problem, and I still am.
I'm working on my audio system, so there's a lcouple of wire upgrades done to it and I don't know if there's something in there that I'm misssing. But here's a list of them.
+ and - battery terminals replaced with plat terminals, 4g batt - to ground. Other than that I've just run extra wire off the new terminal for the amps. I know I'm not pulling more power than the ALT can supply, but I can't for the life of me figure out what's going on.
