Tail Gate Handle Broke!!!
Hey everyone. I own an 89 F250, its a worker. Recently the handle to open the tailgate snapped off on me, and I can not figure out how to get that sumbitch off. Its killing me and my guys, we keep our backpack leaf blowers in the bed, and they weight too much to be lifting up 50+ times a day. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! ~Pete

you can get to the hardware from the inside of the tailgate. If you have a bedliner on the tailgate, it has to come off. Take off the cover to access the hardware. You can order a new handle and hardware from one of the sponsors?? or LMCtruck.com The hardware should unbolt. The rods come unattached by unloosing the plastic clips.
