take the bolt out of the front? Try using a puller? they can be a bugger to get off. I usually spary the area with PB Blaster really good and let it sit over night. Then if the puller wont work..spray it and heat it up. The heat it up.

The only way to get one off is to use a puller, tighten the puller and strike the puller's center bolt square with a hammer, (repeat). (Use a suitable brass drift to keep from damaging the puller)
The shock can/will make it “pop” or shoot off suddenly, so be sure to watch yourself.
