Has anyone put power steering on their trucks? Mine is a 64 F-100 2wd. I have the steering box on the back side of the axle. Does this make a differance? Also the steering box has the shaft run from the box to the steering wheel. There is no coupling in the middle. Did Ford make power steering for this type of setup?

In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
Wow. Nice web site. I wish I had the cash flow to buy the power steering kit. How did you ever find that site? Makes me want to get an old mustang steering assist. I could rebuild one easily. Hmmm. Now the search begins. Thanks.
Mark, I read most all of the posts and when someone recommends a site I bookmark it, and when a bud comes along needing info on that product, I can help him out. My goal is to see all ol Fords riding & driving good.
