super swamper trxus mt
hello, i was wondering if anyone is running these tires? if so, how are they? i live in upstate ny and want an aggressive tire that i can run all year long. the write up says they are "magical in icy and snowy conditions". i'm wondering if this is true. i will be putting them on a 1991 f-150 4x4 longbox. size 33x12.50x15. thanks for any input.

I had a set of these on my Jeep Wrangler that I traded in for my F-150. They were an excellent tire for off-road traction and snow. I rarely needed 4WD. They were a little noisier on the highway, but not bad given the aggressiveness of the tread. They did have their downsides though. Even with the lighter weight of the TJ, I went throught the tires in about 30K miles, so I can't imagine them being much better on the F-150. In the size I had, 33x12.5R15, they were impossible to balance. The vibration was so bad at highway speeds, I never went faster than 75 mph. Basically, if you don't get off-road much I would look at something else. I just bought some Firestone Destination A/T tires for my truck and I love them, but I don't go off-road much with the truck.
