92' Explorer v6, getting no fuel
Maybe someone can help me out here. I don't know the history on this vehicle, just trying to fix it for a friend. He said it just died going down the highway one day and thats it. Problem is when I turn the key on, the fuel pump doesn't prime. I replaced the fuel pump and still nothing. The inertia switch isnt tripped either. The fuel pump relay fuse is fine. The computer and coil pack have also been replaced. I noticed though, it keeps burning the EEC fuse under the hood today. Is there another relay I'm missing somewere, or do I have bigger problems?

The EEC relay (powered by the EEC fuse) feeds power to the fuel pump relay. The fuel pump won't run when the EEC fuse is blown. I would suggest determining why the EEC fuse is blowing. Note that there are a lot of different components (and a lot of associated wiring) that gets power from that fuse. A wiring diagram will likely be essential in tracking this down.

I just replaced the EEC relay, and I noticed the hosuing the relay plugs in was melted some, but the wires leading up to it look to be fine. I've got a diagram so I guess its a short?
