Got another car
1. Anyone know much about this car? Never worked on one (or any newer car except for my 77 F150 and a 95 F150) and just wondering if anyone had some good tips for it.
2. I currently have a 263pc mechanics tool set from sears that I use to work on my '77 F150. I was wondering if I need more tools for a newer car. Such as a diagnostic tool or something of the sort.(I hope you guys say yes, I always love an excuse to get more tools)
Thanks in advance.
So I pretty much have all the sockets and wrenches I need. Both in metric and SAE.
I also have some other tools that are my dads. But they're pretty much basic tools like pliers, hammers, etc.

Famous last words. Be glad this Mercury Mistake isn't your only vehicle. Craftsman doesn't have a deep 5.5mm that works, and is used quite a bit. You'll need a Snap~On or Durabuilt (autozone, foreign Snap~Clone). I would also recomment both a serpentine belt tool, and a belt hook.
Yes, you'll need more tools, and I would take those struts someplace once you've removed them, instead of trying those cheap spring compressors. Not worth the $500+ for one job (for a decent one), and after seeing how most people use the cheap ones, I don't trust them.
