Well I have ordered the parts for the A/C overhaul on the Aero and will have them next week. The only remaining question I have is which oil to use.
The factory service manual recommends oil that meets YB- something or other specifications needless to say I can't find that oil.
I have two oils in mind both engineered for R-134a systems one of the oils is PAG High Viscosity Refrigerant oil it is an ISO 150 oil. That meets GM specification 9988572.
The other oil I can get is called Ester 100 it claims to be a universal refrigerant oil for R-134a systems. It has a viscosity of 100.
This oil will need to be added directly to the new condenser, evaporator, accumulator and compressor in specified quantities as per the factory service manual instructions. So it must be done before the installation of the parts.
Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

The box your new compressor comes in will tell you what type of oil the compressor contains. There should also be a sticker on the compressor telling you how much oil to add for the rear AC.
I ordered a Remanufactured Motorcraft compressor with the clutch installed from rockauto I don't have rear a/c so at least I don't have complications there.
I currently have 3 8oz bottles of oil PAG 46, Ester 100, and PAG 150 so I'm set for whatever they send in the compressor. According to the specs and the link 96 sent me this compressor uses PAG 46. According to the manual sometimes the new compressor will come empty or filled.
