Hey guys Just wanted to thank all you out therein cyberland for you help in all my questions. I've successfully taken off the old grungy dashmat taken off and began polishing my alum. trim and done about 1,000,000 other little things here and there in my efforts to bring the old babe back to vibrant condition. I'm now taking off the front and rear glass and trying to figure out how the whindshield wipers release. I tries to push / pull / jimmy the little latch that sticks out a bit but haven't been able to figure it out yet. I nearly busted one side yesterday trying to wedge it off with a big screwdriver but decided I'd wait until today to ask you guys first. Is there a simple way or do they just take a good yank to pull off?
Thanks again!!
There is a little hook that has to be held until it moves up a bit then you just pull it off. I normally make a little lever arm to pry it off with using wood and a screw driver.
Jeff, You lift the little latch that you are referring to (it's a semi circle) and wiggle the arms off.
