Tire Mixup
I have a 2000 F-250 V10 SC long box 4X2.
My
question: I have newer Goodyear Wrangler HT LT235/85R16E tires on my truck. I need more traction and since it is a 2 wheel drive, I want to change only the 2 back tires to Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor tires.
In the old days we did this alot but will it affect my driving or the vehicle to have different treads on the front and back?

I used to run a Dunlop Mud Rover on the back of my 99 F250 4x2 during hunting season. Realy no issues to speak of other than they were more squishy on the pavement. My thinking is that it the thick mud lugs didn't grab as well as the street tires.
