Can anyone tell me where I can hook into the aux jack on my truck? I have the Audiophile system in my 06' FX4 SCREW.

 

Not an easy task! Search this 2004-2006 forum for PIE and/or AUX. This topic has been discussed many times.

 

I had the same question in my 05 F150 King Ranch that has the optional "6-DISC CD CHGR W/MP3 CAPABILITY" (MSRP $300) and has an AUX button on the unit with no input jack. I also have the AUDIOPHILE option (MSRP $250) which I believe only refers to the amplified subwoofer under my rear seat. My Ford dealer subcontracts their radio work and they told my service advisor that I don't have a jack and if I try to hook any aftermarket item to my radio it voids the warranty. Then I followed Gordo's recommendation and found the info for PIE and called them. PIE gave me the phone number of a local shop (the "other" company in the area that services some of the Ford dealerships) who were very helpful. They install the PIE adapter for $150 which includes running an earbud connector into the glovebox. If you want power for an iPod there are 2 ways to go. 1)you can buy an adapter at Walmart that plugs into the cig lighter and run the cable into the glovebox. 2)PIE makes a universal IPOd cable (UNIPOD) for $85 that provides power and audio. Nice if you want power to your ipod but don't like a cable running out of the cig lighter or aux power port. If you get the UNIPOD cable, you still need the other PIE adapter installed which connects to the radio and terminates with an RCA connector. Hope this helps.
