99 E-350SD Trans Question
Hi,
Was troubleshooting my Van because of a no-start condition (resolved). When taking off the engine cover, I came across a wire connector to the trans that was not plugged together. Connector is located atop the trans and as far rear as possible for the engine cover access (could almost be better termed a tranny access). Anyway, I plugged it together. Van seems to run and drive same as before. What is this connector to the trans for? I ask because my speedo worked and OD had function fine before.
