If you replaced yours what did you use and what differences over the stock converter did you notice.
I am looking at converters from alot of different companies.
Some triple disc some don't say.
Prices seem to range between 450 to over 1000.
A Lincoln Navigator converter will fit in an E4OD; I believe it has a furnace brazed impeller and a slightly higher stall speed than most stock units. My brother put one in his 94 F-150 several months ago and it seems to be working well for him.
What year navigator did he use it from?
Where did he purchase it? Ford?
I feel that this is my problem as my only symptom is shudder and Code 628.
Trans pan was clean with absolutely nothing in it but normal wear residue.
It also shifts fine, except no lockup.
