Wife broke it!

Last week the wife, who is short in stature, caught the handle for the back of the power drivers seat on her shorts on the way out and missed the running board. She snapped it off. Does the seat come apart so the handle can be replaced or am I SOL. We have a 1,600 mile trip coming and I can't drive the explorer in that laid back position very far.

Ford sells the handle/hinge as one piece. It is about $75.00 and is about a 20 minute job.

Try a junk yard if you don't want to spend the $75.00.

Thanks I haven't taken the time to look at it close to see how it comes apart, but I will now!
