94 e150 van stalls at the stoplight
i just bought a 1993 e150 ford van, with 140,000 miles on it. Now the problem i have is when im at a light or stopsign, the van will stall, and die, then i have to restart it. Now it does not do this everytime i stop at a light, but it does, and i dont want to keep putting wear and tear on the starter and battery. So what do you think the problem may me? im thinking an faulty air senser or even dirty air cleaner, give me some suggestions then i will try to fix the problem myself.

This is most likely due to the Air Bypass valve. These are notorious for getting full of carbon and that kills the engine idle. I have tried cleaning these without much luck and I found it was better just to replace the valve when it is full of carbon.
