Has anyone else noticed this? The wipers on my 95 won't come all the way back to the return position when I turn them off. They end up sticking up. If I adjust them so they are down when off then they hit the windshield trim. Has anyone else had this problem? It really bothers me. They used to be just fine up until a few years ago. I have new wiper arms also. I cant really see what is causing this.
I don't think that is whats wrong. It stops in the same place every time. The wipers just sometimes require me to move the back down by hand. I think its slop between the wiper arm and the splines that stick up out of the cowel. Sometimes the wipers hang a few inches up the windshield other times esp when its wet they will come all the way to normal or close to it.
Could be . But if it works better when wet is the motor getting tired or is gravity helping to drop them back to the normal position? The linkage may be worn out.Hardest part is to remove the cowling without damaging the paint.I know LMC truck sells the linkage stuff. Wish I could offer more but I have had no real problems with my wiper system.

when you turn the wipers on again do the wipers drop down to where they should home and then go back up? my truck starting doing that, when they worked at all, a new wiper motor fixed that. about $60 at advance auto parts for a 2 plug wiper motor, not sure what a single plug motor costs. don't toss your old motor, there was a $10 core charge on mine.
