I found a local add for a 1997 F250 HD with a powerstroke. the add says it had 180 000 kms ( aprox 100 000 miles ) on it. Good interior and exterior ( new paint). Needs 2 injectors and has transmission problems. $7000 canadain ( $5800 ish us )
Is it common for powerstroke engines to need injectors by 100 000 miles?? The transmission is not a big concern of mine.... I know they are $$$... but I know a few good transmission guys....
What is a fair price for this truck too... I am thinking about phoning about it.... 5800 us sounds high??
I baught my 97 4x4 with 160,000kms e40d, 7.3 converted to dually, rear air bags, pulled fifth wheel all its life, never winter driven, lots of cosmetics(running boards, visor, ect) check out my gallery I got a pic up, I paid $18,000 for it 2 years ago, its a little high, but dont regret it one bit, its been a solid truck and I am the 2nd owner of it and the previous owner showed me all his maintnace records since the truck was new and the truck was baught localy. The previous owner also did oil changes every 2000kms on it.
