Rear windows wont work??help!

Window motors
I will assume that you have the window safety lock switch located on the driver side front panel set to unlock. I had the same problem with my explorer and I removed the door panels, took the motor housings off of each window motor, turned the armature and got them both working again. I would have not thought that both motors would have had the problem at the same time but that was the case for me. You can do a voltage check to see if the plug has power to determine if you have an electrical problem. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

ya it is real easy, the first is the bezzel behind the door handle that just pops out. The second is the switch panel which pulls up and out. There are only two screws on my 02. One behind the bezzel and one at the bottom of the door panel. The panel lifts up first and then out.

I had the same problem on my 2002 XLT, but it was only one rear side. Did like fordforay, cover off motor twist armature to get it unstuck. That worked for a while, then it quite again.
I replaced the window motor with a new unit. The old motor had a deformed (twisted) plastic drive gear which was causing the binding.
