1963 Supension

I have a 1963 F100 2wd it was a 292 v8 and plaing on puttin a 5.0 mustang in it. I want to make it a low ridder but i can n't find anything to lower the front supension. Lowing blocks can be used in the in rear? Or just converting the front supension ideas will help too.

Todd, I'm researching the same thing as I have a 61 Ford pickup. I don't want a lowrider but I want about a 3" drop in the front and 4" in the rear. Most of the IFS kits available for our trucks (Fatman www.fatmanfab.com has the Mustang II, and Industrial Chassis www.industrialchassisinc.com has the Dakota suspension) will drop your truck about 4 or 5 inches in the front. If you're not sure you want to go with an IFS or don't want to spend that much there are dropped mono leaf springs available for our trucks too. There's supposed to be an outfit called "mor-drop" axles in CA although I haven't been able to track them down just yet. They make a dropped straight axle for our trucks. The IFS setup obviously is going to be the most expensive and I haven't decided what I'm going to do myself just yet. Good luck and let us know what you decide to do with yours.
