Power Steering

No questions about converting to pwr. I have a pwr steering box from a 75 f250 donor. I think there are a couple different boxes that came on these trucks. How can I tell what make I have? What are some of the problems I need to be looking out for before I put this on my 66 f100. I am planning to put a seal kit in the box before I install it, are there any other recommendations or issues to be aware of?

Thanks in advance;

S

Scott as long as you have a 2wd ps gear box no problem with the gear. If you have 3 spd on the column, you will have to find a ps sd column out of a 71/72 to work with the gear. If you have an automatic you can get by with changing the column shaft or the whole column.

Don't for get, you need to reuse your column to dash bracket from your '66 for any 67-79 steering column swap.(gently drill out the small spot welds to remove your '66 bracket)....
